We have a considerable experience in working together with the Public Sector on education and skills issues.
The Directors between them sit on, national, regional and local Skills Boards working together at Ministerial level and with senior staff at Development Agency, Learning Skills Council, Sector Skills Councils and Government Office levels. Their knowledge of the economy, the drivers and the key issues relating to education and skills are comprehensive - unusually so from a business perspective.
We have consulted and contributed to most of the major initiatives being driven politically with our Federation of Small Business members hat on, and delivered access to businesses who in turn have contributed to the improvement of services by government.

Our activity takes us to Government Ministers and their PPS's together with consultation with the EU Parliament through the MEPs.
At regional and local levels, we have experience as Assembly members and working with Unitary, County and District Councils helping to develop and deliver the local economic strategies.
We consult with agencies such as Connexions, JobcentrePlus and others such as Ofsted to understand the various issues.
We undertake research into areas such as business engagement and work experience issues. With the latter we have been developing practical solutions for smarter engagement.
